“Removed from a familiar frame of reference, my trip to Islamabad was one of great adventure. It was exciting to see how the intersection between Afghanistan, India and China had produced a culturally complex society in digital infancy. Politics as usual in Pakistan, the majority of news media is interested in one thing: power distribution amongst the aristocracy. For the keen photographer, Northern Pakistan is a liberating paradise providing a matrix of unlikely urban/rural combinations, a contrast of Japanese technology and a congested, beautiful landscape.” -Mudasser
